Cards are in Production! Samples have arrived.

Hi everyone!

Last week I received the samples to approve. Everything is a go (just a few tweaks)!

From this point it should take about 3 to 4 weeks for them to do production and about another week or so to get them to the warehouse in China. We are late, but the end is getting near. Thank you for your patience. 

The main reason for the delay in getting this produced is just the season. China goes through a 3 to 4 week New Year in February where everything shuts down, which in turn pushes everything out about a month. So, instead of getting Titans produced by April and shipped, we now should have everything shipped by May.

In the meantime, I took some photos of the samples that I received. I have to say, I am really excited for you all to get these. The foiling on the tucks are amazing! Take a look...hope you like:

So, here is where I am making the small tweak. The foiling on the limited card back is super sweet! The UV coating, however, doesn't show up as well with the grey background. So we are making it darker, almost black. This should really make the UV standout.

I just received these this morning and WOW! This has to be one of my best decks designed it. The pictures made me drool. Hope you like. I will send some more pics once I have them in my hand.

Production Update

Hi everyone!

My apologies for taking so long to send out an update. On February 13, 2017 we closed on our new house. Pictured above is my new office! So, I have been a little busy here. 

I am still waiting to get digital proofs for the cards. This time of year is usually one of the worst times to produce in China, because of the Chinese New Year. Of course I put a month padding in the process to account for it, but it is still only in the Digital phase of things. 

Here is what is still needing to happen:

• Approve digital proofs (just received those this morning)
• Approve hard samples - should get those in 2 weeks
• Production starts (hopefully by the end of March
• Production ends Mid to Late April
• Shipping to all of you should start hopefully by the end of April into Mid-May

In the meantime...

I have a special project coming up here really soon. Behind the scenes, I have been producing a very special deck. In 2015 I launched and successfully funded Innovation Playing Cards. The Signature deck in the series was a HUGE success, so much so, that my supplies are very low. So, I decided to print the signature deck volume II, The Innovation Signature Blue Edition. Take a look...

This is a self-funded deck. The decks are already produced. 1000 were printed, but I held 500 back, numbered them and put them in this special limited case that is only made for this deck.

On March 21, 2017, I will be launching a very short Kickstarter (15 days) to fund this very limited deck and it will be delivered by May of 2017.

BackerKit Update #2 - Over 90% Complete!

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope you all had a great holiday season. I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 has in store.

Everything is going really well so far with Titans. All of the artwork has been submitted and currently waiting for digital proofs.

The BackerKit surveys are also doing well with over 90% of the surveys completed. If you have not completed your survey, please do so soon. This is very important so that I know what the final count is to order. I will be finalizing the counts in the next few weeks. Also, if you have not seen your survey in your email, please contact me and we will get that fixed for you right away.

Very important! I will be locking down your BackerKit surveys this Friday, January 6, 2017. This will only be for those who have finished their surveys. What this means, for those who have added on to their order, their credit cards will be charged.
